Updated Travel Information to the Attention of Travellers from South Africa to Turkey (Measures taken against the spread of Sars-Cov2/COVID19 virus)

Currently only transit passengers are allowed on the direct flights from South Africa to Turkey. There are various airlines carrying passengers to Turkey with stopover.

For all the passengers who have been to South Africa 10 days prior to their travel, 14 days of quarantine at the government facility in the first arrival city is compulsory. The quarantine is free of charge and the passengers who have the second test on the 10th day may end their quarantine if the result comes negative. The passengers who does not accept to have the 10th day test are required to complete their quarantine period to 14 days. If the result is positive or symptoms are observed, the passenger will be provided medical treatment in line with the COVID19 regulations ıf the Turkish Ministry of health.

All passengers who will enter Turkey are required to fill out the online form on the following website: http://register.health.gov.tr. The form is required to be filled within 72 hours before the departure of the flight and will be checked through printed version or mobile devices by the airline officiers. (Transit passengers are not required to fill out the form.)
