Announcement on the procedures and principles to be applied at the border gates for entry to Turkey as of March 3, 2022, within the scope of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Entry to Turkey by air; those who certify that they had at least two doses (single dose for Johnson & Johnson) of the vaccines approved for emergency use by the World Health Organization or Turkey, provided that at least 14 days have passed since the last dose; or those who submit a document issued by the official authorities of the relevant country that they have had the disease in the last 6 months, starting from the 28th day of the first PCR test result; or those who submit a negative PCR test result taken within last 72 hours or a negative rapid antigen test taken within the last 48 hours before entering Turkey will be exempted from quarantine when entering Turkey.
No documents will be required for people who will enter Turkey at its land, sea and railway border gates.
Children under the age of 12 will be exempted from PCR/Antigen test report and vaccination certificate when they enter Turkey
Aircraft crew and key personnel will be exempted from SARS-CoV-2 PCR testing and quarantine in order not to adversely affect foreign trade.
Special arrangement provisions at bilateral level with foreign countries are reserved.
